Home to around 380,000 people. The Archipelago is made up of several Islands, with the main butterfly-shaped landmass formed by Grande-Terre and Basse-Terre.

Its volcanic soil, tropical climate and agricultural heritage have made it one of the historic centres of Rhum Agricole production. A spirit distilled directly from fresh sugarcane juice rather than molasses.
